I thought I'd pass on some Google information and the results of some of the experiments I've been running. Your input back is greatly appreciated too.
Well, here's what I did. I took a bunch of my Wild Wolf business domains, all related to the same topic and gave them all the exact same information, then took them live. Now, some were pre-sandbox days and some were brand new. So, I had to gift the spider bots with links to follow for the new sites, and follow they did.
It took about 3-4 weeks to see the results, but here's what I noticed. The .info sites ... new or old ... are getting a higher PR by about 2 points. New .info got PR while new .com, .net and .org did not.
I had sites getting decent PR that were still coming up under their keywords at all. Google had indexed them, but clearly they were still in the sandbox. I'm thinking that PR doesn't count for a whole lot yet where Google is concerned. I think they're experimenting with it too to be honest.
Also, I had one site, that wasn't part of this test group, go from zero to Google's top 10 in its keywords ... number 4 to be exact. It was a fairly new site and it took the site about three months to be released from Google's sandbox. I was blown away that it went to the top like that. So, now I'm wondering what will happen as sites are released from the sandbox, will they also get a jump like that? Perhaps it's because this was a news site and I gave it new content on a regular basis.
Well, that's my insights into the world of Google for now. I'd love to hear what's happening with your experiments ... observations ... etc.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. Such a webmaster blog it is. Check google ranking of any website is the most useful work in search engine optimization business. Much and more helpful blog for me and all of my friends. Thanks for sharing this post so much.
