I've been playing around with Google Maps this past week, and what a cool little tools that's turning into. I saw in the San Jose Mercury News today that Paul Rademacher earned an honorable mention for his version of Housing Maps that combines the technologies of craigslist and Google maps.
I've also had a good look at the Movie and Cheap Gas maps from ahding.com, both based on the hack that Paul Rademacher did.
One thing I don't like about them is how slowly they load, but I expect that's going to improve if this is going to be a viable tool for the public. Other than that, it's almost a limitless wealth of possibilities that you could do with this technology.
